In 2015, we are preparing for the NIDP project in Nebbi province in Uganda. The aim is to provide a geographically targeted basic income for 7 years for 400 people at least. The basic income grant is called LIFE: a Level Income For Equity, ideally €0,25 (25 eurocents) daily for which €255.500 will be needed over 7 years. New year 2015 we had acquired 45%, end of februari the total rose to 47%. To be able to investigate the effects, we need a research budget too. The NIDP project will take off if we have funds providing 400 people with a minimal daily grant of €0,15 (15 eurocents) for 7 years: that is €153.300 at least. We reached €127.741 so the gap to fill is €25.558 towards take-off. The budget Circle below summarizes the financial state of affairs which is explained in fine detail in spreadsheet How-LIFE-payments-are-calculated-7-Years-Budget-€127741. First we’ll wear in the logistics with an 8-week trial for 40 people. Like at the initiation of the main project, LIFE will be fixed at €0,15 daily. The trial will start soon, early in the year 2015.
